Oldies

The Good Girl's Guide to Murder is the second book in Susan McBride's Debutante Dropout mystery series and Andy (Andrea) is in her car trying to find a good song on the radio when she comes across an oldie...Ironic by Alanis Morissette.
"Oldie?" I'm thinking, "that didn't come out that long ago. An oldie would be from Herman's Hermits or even Meatloaf for a newer "oldie" but Alanis Morissette just doesn't qualify as an oldie! Then I pulled out her CD to find a copyright date of 1995. Oh, um, I guess a decade earlier could be classified as oldie but then what are my "oldies" classified as? And..do I really want to know? lol

Those older oldies are now called "classics."
