Christmas

The Christmas deep dish pizza was very good:

I had thirty family members over for our Christmas celebration last night. I had a few empty huge boxes for the dozen or so kids to play with while waiting for everyone to show up and they played in them all evening!
Lots of fun and loads of gifts. Darrell loved his gift when he finally got it opened. He took the rocks I labeled "Rock" and "Hard Place" over to his dad's to place on either end of the house. Yep, that's right, my uncle and aunt are going to be living between a Rock and a Hard place.
I got paid back this year when I tried to open the present from Tony. He used 3 rolls of tape and 5 boxes. ;) A gift card to Fry's Electronics Store and a bag of M&Ms! Pizza pans, cake pans, a M&M tree ornament, and a pirate beach towel were other things I received.
Oh, and Stargate SG-1 Season 10 was delivered yesterday too! (from me to myself)
Mom opened her Lighthouse windspinner and everyone's saying, "Oh, we say those at the mall. They are so cool."

This morning it started snowing so I went for a walk around the block which turned into a walk around the neighborhood! Forty frozen minutes later I came back home as a snowman.

Wow, it's snowing in Portland!

Thirty people sounds like a lot of people to be catering to. And a lot of fun!

It didn't last long. I guess you need to be east of the Cascades for it to stick around for any length of time!

I didn't mean to give the wrong impression. Every family brought at least one pizza and we put them out for everyone to eat. There was plenty of Domino's and Pappa Murphy's leftover but the homemade pizza was gone before the night was over!
The sad thing is that I've got leftover cheese so I'm going to have to make a few more pizzas in the next couple weeks!! lol ;D

Now I'm hungry for pizza.

That's a nice winter scene. Is that your house?

I doubt virtual pizza has quite the same taste but try a piece. Lots of Canadian Bacon and loaded with diced green peppers, onions, very juicy pineapple, and smothered in Monterey Jack and Mozarella cheeses.

Yes, that's my house after 30 to 45 minutes of snow! It's all melted now. :(

You can get two or three pizzas with the same amount of dough! Cold pizza for breakfast is very good too. *grin*

Snow! You are so lucky. We don't get much of that at Christmas in New Zealand. ;o)

I would imagine not. Isn't it the middle of summer there?

Well, yes. Summer's what makes the 'White Christmas' thing difficult to achieve here. ;o)

And dreaming of a "Green Christmas" just doesn't quite have the same ring to it!
