Summer's here

I knew it was hot out there today but I rode the bike down to the Library anyway; got home and they said it was 102F! I guess that's why the Clackamas River was filled with people. :D
It seemed to me that it was warmer yesterday and that was 95F...must have been the 12 hour day at work.

Yeah, I saw that you guys are having a heat wave. We're to hit 100 by Monday, but of course, we don't have all the humidness that you have. You have my sympathy.

Thanks. 100 is still too warm even if it's a dry heat. I hope you can keep cool.

I stay totally in the house except when I feel stir crazy and then run out and rip something out of the garden -- like the proverbial mad dogs and Englishmen in the noon day sun. Hmm, guess I'm a mad woman instead.

I'm with you on that one. If it wasn't for my job, I'd have many successive days when the only reason I'd leave the house was for a trip to the mailbox!

Siblings in arms on this one. Are you getting any of the smoke from the fires up your way?

Fires? Wow, 1000 lightning strikes. I hadn't heard. No smoke my way and that's a good thing!
