Yesterdays pictures

I got up to the clubhouse with the laptop tonight only to realize I left the camera down at the camper. I'm not making another round trip down, up and back down Cardiac Hill so the Drift Creek pictures won't be posted tonight. :( Instead, I bring you yesterday's pictures

There's an 18 hole mini-golf course. The second round I made par!!! (not talking 'bout the first game!) They took out the shuffleboard to make what I think is supposed to be a bocce ball court. Basketball, Wallyball, & Horseshoes round out the sports court area with a playground and sandy area for the kids to play in.
The Family Lodge downstairs has ping pong, air hockey, and video games as well as a place to check out board games. A small store, laundry room, swimming pool and hot tub are also in the area. Upstairs has meals on weekends, games in the evening, a tv and the wifi connection. The adult lodge has the pool tables and a second tv.

The bunnies are so "friendly" many of them come up and beg for food. There used to be a sign on the door to the store asking you to please not feed the bunnies. Just inside the door was a rabbit food for sale display! I, of course, being me, laughingly had to ask if this was entirely logical.

I thought this was rather interesting. The water wore away all the sand except what was on top of the rocks.

I thought that this was a golden eagle but in talking to someone today, it could be a buzzard. I still think it's an eagle but I doubt I'd know the difference if they both landed right next to me.

Ha, is it really called Cardiac Hill? That looks like a fun mini-golf course.

It's the nickname for the staff road/shortcut up the hill.

It is lots of fun with plenty of challenging holes. :)

The mini golf looks so fun! I like shuffleboard, too. :)

The mini golf seems to be one of the favorite things to do here. I've never seen too many people playing shuffleboard which may be why they took it out.
