There's an 18 hole mini-golf course. The second round I made par!!! (not talking 'bout the first game!) They took out the shuffleboard to make what I think is supposed to be a bocce ball court. Basketball, Wallyball, & Horseshoes round out the sports court area with a playground and sandy area for the kids to play in.
The Family Lodge downstairs has ping pong, air hockey, and video games as well as a place to check out board games. A small store, laundry room, swimming pool and hot tub are also in the area. Upstairs has meals on weekends, games in the evening, a tv and the wifi connection. The adult lodge has the pool tables and a second tv.
The bunnies are so "friendly" many of them come up and beg for food. There used to be a sign on the door to the store asking you to please not feed the bunnies. Just inside the door was a rabbit food for sale display! I, of course, being me, laughingly had to ask if this was entirely logical.
I thought this was rather interesting. The water wore away all the sand except what was on top of the rocks.
I thought that this was a golden eagle but in talking to someone today, it could be a buzzard. I still think it's an eagle but I doubt I'd know the difference if they both landed right next to me.
