The foreman's retirement party is scheduled for 5 pm tomorrow on our down-day, meaning we get no relief, we finish off the sales day. Our wrap out time tomorrow is for 7 pm.
Thanks a lot, guys. It's our foreman who's retiring. You think we might possibly want to go celebrate with him and say goodbye, good luck, thanks for the memories, and we hope to see you around town? That was a rhetorical question, of course we do. Especially though of us who have worked with him for many, many years.
And about an hour before we left, the depanner went down and was still down when we left. Since they've lost a minimum of two hours I'm hoping they reschedule swing shift to come in tomorrow so we get out on time.
