Three hours overtime yesterday and three hours later to bed. Coincidence? It would have been earlier except for The Clockwork Teddy by John J. Lamb. I had to stay up and finish the book!_! It's the fourth book in the series and I've loved every one of them.
Retired San Francisco cop Brad Lyons and his wife, Ashleigh, have been settling into a comfortable life in the Shenandoah Valley, collecting and creating adorable teddy bears. But when they take a return trip to California, things suddenly turn ugly...

Sometimes you shouldn't go home again. When Brad and Ashleigh Lyons return to San Francisco for the first time since they moved to Virginia, they're looking forward to catching up with friends and family. But instead, they witness a robbery at a teddy bear show - and then, when a cutting-edge robot teddy bear is found at a murder scene, Brad's former partner enlists the bear-making couple as fur-ensic experts.

At least the investigation will give them the opportunity to spend more time with their daughter, Heather, an undercover detective on the force. But as Brad and Ash unravel the mystery, they run the risk of coming to a grizzly end...

I started Touched by Venom by Janine Cross today at work and wished I'd brought another book. I don't like it and am not going to read the rest of it.

I got the "optional" side mount brackets in the mail yesterday; guess I don't have to wait for them until the 22nd of the month after all! New plans for my day off.
