I survived! A little sore from yesterday's workout or the fall onto the slicer that left me with a baseball-sized bruise. It's a good thing the blades can only run with the guards in place. The 3rd shift foreman stayed over and they called 2nd shift foreman in early so it wasn't too bad of a day after all.

I picked up the next book in queue, Cream Puff Murder by Joanne Fluke, and I'm very disappointed. This is the 11th book in the Hannah Swensen (Cookie Baker!) mystery series and I think the 3rd one where Mike, the deputy sheriff and one of two suitors, is again suspected of murder. So not only is her waffling between two guys getting old but so is either one of them being suspected of murder. Especially when Mike's boss is Hannah's brother-in-law!
I moved it to the bottom of the to-be-read-right-away pile and am trying to decide between The Language of Bees by Laurie King - A Mary Russell & Sherlock Holmes mystery or Bloodhound by Tamora Pierce - the 2nd Tortall novel. I'm leaning towards the Mary Russell story since I want to reread Terrier before starting Bloodhound. Then again, Tamora Pierce will be at Powells Books next Tuesday - and so will I!!! :D
