Reservations for Murder by Tim Myers

This is #2 in the Lighthouse Inn mystery series. It's a nice beach book even though it's not situated on the shore! Tucked away in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains is the charming Hatteras West Inn and Lighthouse. Innkeeper Alex Winston watches over the cozy getaway and guests count on him to take care of everything from basic repairs to breakfast. But lately he has to take care of the occasional murder case too...

The booths are all set up and the games are ready but there's a new addition to this year's Golden Days Fair that will make it the one to remember - a corpse. Right before the festivities kick off, the town's favorite blacksmith is found impaled with an iron spike. Now Alex has to look for clues between arts and crafts and candied apples. And it's up to him to put this county killer in federal prison before his small hometown loses any more of its charm...</i>

I'm not 100% sure, but I think I have this book downstairs right now. Is there a noose on the cover?

Not on my cover but it's an old edition. Mine shows an ink spill on the guest book looking through the Lobby window at the Lighthouse.

Mine might be something completely different. I thought it was set in Oregon, though. I should...read it!

Must be different. This is set in the North Carolina mountains.

Not me, there's probably a lot of titles with that name. However, I am going to blame you. *nods* It's all your fault that I am now playing Farmville AND CafeWorld along with neo. lol As for Farkle, that's Mom and Dad's game! ;)
Here's hoping for a good 8 hours of sleep for you tonight.

Hey, I never even mentioned Cafe World. And in your best interest, I also didn't mention Treasure Madness, which I'm currently having fun with. I also like Fishville, but I'm not sure why. And Mafia Wars. That game...

Have you looked at facebookgames? No pressure to join, but I have fun o'er there. (Oh, and I started the fun.)

Ah but see, it was your Feed? (if that's the right term) or Facebook post anyway, that sent me to CafeWorld. I'm a baker - that World is addicting! lol
Are you limited to neighbors in CafeWorld? I sent you a neighbor invite this morning and wondered if there's a friend limit or it got lost?
I joined the LJ community this afternoon! :) (also found through your Facebook Feed!)

and I am NOT even going to look at Treasure Madness. I have a Pirate Flag LJ userpic - that's enough! haha

Sorry, I have so many requests, I didn't see it! I'll go get it now. :)

Really? Imagine that. :D Take your time, the weekend's soon enough. GET SOME SLEEP! :D
It's what? almost midnight there?
Dec. 31st, 2009 03:55 am (UTC)
Oh hey, speaking of Farmville - you left a Message Sign by the Poinsettias but it was blank. Was it supposed to say something? ;)
Dec. 31st, 2009 04:15 am (UTC)
Doh, I wrote a funny message. Boo.
Dec. 31st, 2009 04:26 am (UTC)
I wondered. What did it say?
Can you read the signs I posted along my field? I've been using them as post-it notes to remember what gets harvested when! :D
Dec. 31st, 2009 01:40 pm (UTC)
Yes, I read your notes about when you were harvesting so I made a sign with an arrow like this:

But I can't remember what I wrote. Don't worry; I'm sure it was stupid.

Ha - Those are the ones that get a laugh out of me! <--- Harvest these here
or something similar! lol Okay, I don't think I want to know what that says about my sense of humor! ;)
