Ghost of a Chance by Yasmine Galenorn

This is #1 in her Chintz 'n' China series. She also has a couple paranormal fantasy series out that I plan on trying. And she has a light cozy mystery series under the name India Ink.
I enjoyed it and have already started #2 of the 5 in the series.

Emerald O'Brien, single mother of two, is the owner of the Chintz 'n China Tea Room where guests are served the perfect blend of tea and tarot reading. She never set out to be a detective, but once word gets out that she can communicate with the dead, there's no turning back...

It was definitely a ghost. There, at the foot of Emerald's bed. A pen hovered above a piece of paper and scrawled these alarming words: I was murdered by my husband but nobody knows. Help me. True, Emerald was considered the town witch, but she owned a teashop, not a detective agency. What did the spirit expect? But after another darker entity emerges, bent on destroying her world and her family along with it, Emerald's life takes a screeching detour onto a wild and dangerous road. As she careens into a web of deceit, lies, and secrets woven around her ghostly visitor, death strikes again. Now, along with her friends - an ex-supermodel and a cop - and her new love interest, Emerald must search for clues to put the killer behind bars - and this tortured soul to rest...

On another note, my computer is back up and running though I don't know for how long. The power supply tested out okay and after putting it back in the computer, it booted up fine. So now that it works after being off for a couple days, I'm wondering if the power supply overheated and I need a stronger one for everything it powers. It's obviously NOT the hard drive, which was my second guess. And that reminds me - BACKUP!!!! and do it often! :\

I remember India Ink. Not my favorite pen name. :P

Ugh, I need to backup all my photos and videos. I should just get an external hard drive!

Yes, I remember you didn't like that series too well. This one didn't have that off-the-cuff type of humor and deals a lot more in the spirit world.

Yes, you should definitely backup your photos, videos, and important documents. If you don't have room for an external hard drive, pick up a few 4 or 8 GB USB flash drives. They'll hold thousands of pictures and they'll fit in your desk drawer!

I need to get another flash drive. I have one that I tote my story around on, but no pictures.

You could also pick up extra cards that fit your camera and use them for picture storage if you have a card reader on your pc or on a usb hub. Those are just as small and come in about the same storage sizes.
Keep an eye on your sale prices, you can usually pick them up pretty cheap...relatively speaking. :) The last ones I saw were $10 for a 4GB flash drive and that was just after Thanksgiving.
