Books not finished

I took Kristine Kathryn Rusch's book "The Retrieval Artist and Other Stories" to work with me last night, read the first story and the second one I finished at home after work. Both the stories seemed familiar so I checked my records and found I've read the book before - Aug 27, 2003! Several of the stories have been made into series: The Retrieval Artist now has 5 book, Alien Influences is now novel length (haven't read the book yet so I don't know if it's based on the short stories or an entirely different story based in the same universe), and Seavy Village has 2 books to go along with several short stories. Since I've already read the book, I'm putting it down as read but won't record it as such.

Annie Griffin's books, on the other hand, I'm getting rid of. I liked the books she wrote under her real name of Sally Chapman but these have nothing that captures my attention. I didn't care for the 1st book and the 2nd one isn't any better so I've decided to sack it. Same with Elaine Veits' books. I read the 1st two and don't find them appealing.
