One day off

I took Alexa & Cody over to the school playground for an hour yesterday after dropping the cookies off. Shaz was there so I recommended Doppelganger to her. I got a little too much sun & turned a bit red. Got back home and checked the bike over. Uh oh, the bike went back to the shop today with another spoke problem. Jon says there have been others having problems with the 750 watts too so maybe I didn't get a lemon after all. I'll just have to carry the spoke wrench with me and check it every 5 miles until they don't need adjusted then increase it to 10, etc. etc. etc. It's raining today anyway and I have to work tonight so I couldn't take off like I had planned. Maybe next week.
I picked up the last 2 Naomi Novik & the first 2 Scott Westerfeld books from the Library. I've got 3 Sarah Andrews books left then I can start in on the latest mystery series pile from Authors I've already read: John Sandford, Mary Daheim, & Robert W. Walker.
If I'm going to make my 25 books this month I'll be reading a book a day minus one day. It's not going to happen but I didn't think I'd be able to do that during the summer anyway. 300 books in one year is kind of unrealistic for me even though I did make the halfway mark! I just want to match my record of 253.
One last thought from the wise men that I picked up from An Eye for Gold:
To do is to be - Descartes
To be is to do - Sartres
Do be do be do - Sinatra
And it's off to dreamland for me!
