It's raining, it's pouring...

And the first week of November sees Portland with almost half of it's monthly average rainfall met for the month. With three weeks left in the month, flood warnings issued, and only one day of no rain in the forecast, it looks like we're going to get a bit wet!

The good news is that I live at the top of a hill so I'll be one of the last ones flooded out.
The bad news is that once I'm surrounded by water there's no where else to go!
Which makes the next bit of good news that before the hill I live on is completely surrounded by flood waters, Portland will also be underwater.
Which, in turn, makes the bad news that there will be no one around to rescue me when there's no where else to go!
