another mystery series!

I found a new, or rather old, mystery series to start. I started reading Marcia Muller's Sharon McCone series last year and one book, Double, was co-written with Bill Pronzini where the Nameless Detective was involved in McCone's case. I enjoyed the book and started looking for the Nameless Detective novels. Bill's co-written one book, Twospot, in the Nameless Detective series with Collin Wilcox and his detective is a homicide cop, Lt. Frank Hastings. I liked the Lieutenant and will start looking for the twenty books in his series next year!
That's how I started reading the Martha Vineyard series by Philip R. Craig too. He's now co-written a couple books with William G. Tapply which featured both of their detectives with a third one coming out, hopefully, next year!
Anyone else had a series lead directly to another like that?

It really is a small world after all. I was reading a post from aprilhenry in which she mentions her friend Barbara Seranella, whose book we just happen to be reading for whodundidit this month.
