Somehow I missed seeing that Kate Wilhelm has Sleight of Hand out, the latest Barbara Holloway book :( but I've ordered it now! :) along with a debut baking mystery series entitled A Peach of a Murder by Livia J. Washburn.

At work last night as I was coming back from break, I just couldn't resist the, "Okay guys, you have thirty-nine shopping days 'til Christmas." and the reactions were all that I could hope for! Bwahahahaha!

Hey there! This probably isn't the bestest place, but I'm having trouble getting my hands on the book for whodundidit this month. Apparently, the only library that has it is Pendleton. So I'm on the waiting list. I sure hope I make it in time. :( Sorry!!

This is a fine place to post about it and there's absolutely no hurry in getting the book read. Reading the books are supposed to be for fun and the Holidays can be stressful enough...did I mention the 38 shopping days 'til Christmas part? I haven't even started yet :( So take your time and enjoy Thanksgiving.

The tags on the posts should make it easy to find the discussions if someone posts about a book 3 years from now. Of course, we may not remember too much about the book but we'll be able to find the post!

On a completely different subject and out of curiousity :-) how's your NaNoWriMo project coming along? If you don't mind me asking, that is.

Ugh, I don't mind you asking, but I DO mind how far behind I've gotten. I had to work on a transcription project and wasn't able to do it for about a week. Now I can't remember what I was trying to get at by writing. So I'm thinking I'm not going to get to finish NaNo this year. But maybe next year. And maybe I'll just have to write to write again, instead of having a goal like that. Too bad. It would have been really fun to take part. ;)

Bummersville. I'm sorry to here that. It's a real pain when something that has to be done interferes with something else that you really want and enjoy doing.

After the New Year you could call it SiJaWriMo! ;-)

That's a terrific idea. Might just have to try that. What would the "Si" part stand for? Do you write? (Don't know how you'd have time!)

Zebulen did me the favor of getting the book reserved. I was having trouble with that part and getting frustrated. Hopefully it will get to my library soon and they will call me about it this time.

Sillyliss' January Write Month
I have bits and pieces for 3 stories from trying to write but the closest to an actual story is an interactive email with my uncle when he lived in Ca. I wrote a scene and emailed it to him, he replied with an additional scene, and a half dozen emails apiece we had a good portion of a short story! It was fun but to write a novel myself...I think I'd rather read and keep the stories in my head!

Yay for Z! :-) I can't do interlibrary loans online. I have to go to the Library to fill out a request form :-( On the other hand, they're more than happy to help me out! :-)
