It's that time of year again...

I've had all year to prepare for this year's Christmas treasure hunt...
and once again, it's December and I hadn't done a thing for it!

So last night at work I was thinking about what to do for the 4 kids in school and the 4 kids that can't read yet...

Make a Map using my house as a Country with each kid's name beside an X marks the spot.
I did 8 of them - Canyons, Valleys, and Caves for the basement; Mountains, Cities, and Plains for the main floor.

Then I needed Dot-to-Dots for the younger ones who can't read and Riddles for the older ones.
I have 4 dot-to-dots and 2 Riddles:
When is a door not a door?
What has 4 legs and a head but only 1 foot?
(I was going to use "What's black and white but red all over?" but I don't have any newspapers and way too many books for that one!)

Anyone have any Riddles you can send my way?

Of course, when I got home and looked at the List of Treasure Hunt participants...I have 9!
I'm 1 short - fortunately of the little kids so I need another dot-to-dot which should be easy-er anyway!

That is the cutest thing ever! You have got to be one of the world's coolest uncles.

The only riddles I really know are the ones from The Hobbit(clock and egg), but I can't even recite those, I'd have to look them up. I suck at remembering jokes too, it's freaky.

They certainly think so!! :-D

Tolkien, huh? I had to look it up...
This thing runs but cannot walk, has no arms but does have hands, lacks a head but has a face. What is it?

I love it, it'll work great. Thank you very much. :)
